So, we’re vegetarians, and have been since 2002. No slip-ups, no cheating, no “I’m a vegetarian who only eats fish” crud. Fish are not vegetables. Shut up. If you eat fish, you are not a vegetarian. You’re something else. I don’t know what it’s called, but it’s not vegetarian.

Would I eat insects? It’s a topic I’ve struggled with over the years. I like to use the term “vegetarian” to describe myself, and insects are clearly not vegetables. However, mushrooms and cheese and so on are not “vegetables” either, so the term itself is flawed.
